The following photos were all taken by © Neil Shedden in Namibia, during July 1999. The locations include the Kalahari-Gemsbok Park. We also experience sunrise and sunset in the Namib desert - scene of the world's highest sand dunes (300m), at Sossusvlei & Sesriem. Our journey continues on to see the 1000 year old Welwitschia plants of Moon Valley and the strange Kokerboom Quiver trees. We also visit Fish River Canyon - Namibia's answer to America's Grand Canyon. The tour ends in the modern capital city of Windhoek.
